A former medieval stronghold mentioned in texts from 1298, the Manoir de La Giraudière is a majestic 17th century Tuffeau stone building, typical of our beautiful region, converted into a charming hotel by the mother of the current owner..

Sanitaires un peu ancien, SdB du voisin pas très bien isolée.

On nous avait offert une nuit dans votre établissement.
La chambre était très vieillotte et sombre.
Et lorsque nous voulions utiliser le lavabo une odeur d’égout remontait.
Heureusement le matelas du lit était confortable.
Mais pour un week-end en amoureux deux lits individuels rassemblés c’est pas top… et même pas une couette commune!
Suite à l’odeur désagréable on nous a proposé une chambre plus petite! Un sous classement alors que nous étions déjà pénalisé était le pompon!
Nous avons par contre apprécié la qualité de petit déjeuner.
Très bel extérieur mais l’intérieur de la chambre est très vieillot
La Salle de bain est spacieuse mais idem très vieillotte.
Lieux extérieures très bien, accueil très sympathique, très décevant la chambre N°4 très sombre et humide, lit double accolée et baignoire alors que nous avions demander un grand lit et douche.
C'est possible que la chambre soit attribué au smart box où autre si vous y allez faite la demande part mail.
Éviter la chambre 4.

Nous avions une famille dans la chambre du dessus.

This is a wonderful hotel and location, beautiful gardens.
The staff were so kind to us, we were a little late arriving and they were lovely and welcoming, waiting for us to eat and check in and very sweet to our dog Milo ( who loved the food, as we did too!).

Le personnel est sympathique et le manoir est joli.
Nous avons prévenu que nous venions avec notre fille de 6 mois et aurions préféré une chambre en rez de chaussée plutôt qu'au 1er étage(sans ascenseur) afin de transporter le lit et les affaires de bébé .
dans notre chambre il y avait un bureau ( très pratique ) mais ce bureau était rempli de petits trous de bêtes du bois et en ce moment ces petites bêtes sortent des trous et volent dans la chambre ( je connais car j'ai eu le même problème chez moi ) .
C'est très désagréable car ces bestioles se fourrent partout et nous n'avions pas envie d'en ramener chez nous .
il faut passer au pinceau plusieurs fois par an ce meuble à l'insecticide de type Xylophène ( ou marque similaire ) et si possible du Xylophène à la seringue dans chaque trou ( c'est un peu long mais efficace ) .
d'où mes mauvaises notes pour l'équipement .
